Biography

Originally from Iowa, I first saw an ocean when I moved to Los Angeles in 1984 to study Religion & Social Ethics at USC. I moved to Portland, OR, in 1988 and have continued to live here while traveling as much as I can. I first began photography when digital cameras came en vogue. I eventually graduated to a digital SLR and began shooting raw images in 2007. What I enjoy most about photography is composition, framing the photo, and then bringing the raw images to life in Lightroom..
